Dr Rana graduated in 2000 in India and worked in several New Delhi hospitals in various disciplines before training in Orthopaedics in 2005. He worked as Orthopaedics surgeon in New Delhi for 5 years before moving to Australia in 2013.
He enjoys playing badminton, watching cricket, spending time with family and friends and travel.
His special interest being chronic disease management, men’s health, paediatrics, musculoskeletal, skin check and lesion excision, work cover.
Dr. Kumar completed his MBBS from India and then went to UK for the higher education. He came to Australia in 2006.
He is Fellow of the “Royal Australian College of General Practitioners” and holds Professional Diploma of General Dermatology, Professional Diploma of Skin Cancer Medicine and Professional Diploma of Skin Cancer Surgery Principle. He is well-experienced in Emergency Medicine.
Dr. Kumar has interest in all aspects of Family Medicine including Chronic Disease Management, Preventive Medicine, General Pediatrics, Men’s Health, Skin Cancer Checks & management and minor Procedures & Emergency Medicine.

Doctor’s Biography
Dr Vinita Bhat has worked as a medical practitioner for the last 11 years out of which 10 years have been in Australia.
Her passion to work as a general medical practitioner was sparked in the country town of Mildura ,Victoria which is where her medical life in Australia began and continued for a further 9 years before relocating to Adelaide in 2019.
Dr Bhat completed her MBBS from Manipal University, India in 2007 and after a short tenure of working in different multi speciality hospitals , she
came to Australia. After completing Internship from Mildura base hospital , she transitioned into General Practice in 2014 and subsequently completed her fellowship in General Practice (FRACGP) in 2019. She has the distinction of working in remote indigenous society in rural NSW for a period of 4 years.
Presently she is working full time in general practice.
Dr Vinita Bhat’s special interests include :

.Her personal interests include: She is a trained south Indian Classical Dancer (Bharatnatyam) and frequently does public performances in Adelaide. She also enjoys doing Bollywood style dancing .
Cooking is her passion too as is travelling and exploring new places. Yoga is an essential part of her morning routine.

Samir graduated in 2005 and completed his Master’s degree in Orthopaedics, Sports & Manual Physiotherapy from the University of South Australia.
In his years of clinical practice, Samir has developed special interests in the management of sports specific shoulder injuries, spinal problems, hip/knee/ankle injuries, orthopedic & return to work rehabilitation.
Samir has also developed a passion for dry needling, neural mobilization & taping techniques. Samir is trained in Level 1 and Level 2 Dry Needling (western acupuncture) and also did his medical acupuncture training from Singapore.
Samir is a member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association, National Dry needling group and also a committee member and National vice chair of Australian Acupuncture Dry needling national group.

Dr Singh is a locally trained doctor from the Australasian College of Emergency Medicine (ACEM) and Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) Australia.
Dr Singh has extensively served at the Royal Darwin Hospital, St Vincent’s Hospital, Monash Medical Centre, Flinders Medical Centre, Lyell McEwin Hospital, Modbury Hospital, St Andrews Hospital and Ashford Emergency Services. She also actively services regional communities and hospitals in Goolwa, Virginia, Two Wells, Port Pirie, Wallaroo, Maitland, Gawler and Balaklava Hospital Emergency Services as a RACGP Fellow with Extended Emergency Skills.
Dr Singh has broad experience and skills in handling Ophthalmology (Eye), Obstetrics and Gynaecology cases, chronic disease management (diabetes, asthma hypertension etc), minor surgeries including skin checks & skin lesions, women’s health (managing period problems, Mirena removal, Implanon insertion/removal), paediatrics (working with children), elderly patients and mental health.
In her spare time, Dr Singh loves to entertain family and friends with cooking multi-cuisines with cocktails.
Dr Singh is fluent in English, Russian, Hindi, Punjabi and Gujarati.

Rahmat Ansari is a passionate podiatrist and orthotics expert who graduated with distinction from the Queensland University of Technology and is a proud member of the Australian Podiatry Association. With a special interest in diabetic foot assessment, heel pain, and ingrown toenail treatment, Rahmat has gained a reputation for being a go-to guy for all your foot care needs.
In addition to his clinical work, Rahmat has also worked in an orthotic lab making custom orthotics for patients and other clinics. He has a wealth of knowledge and expertise in orthotic therapy, helping patients improve their foot function and alleviate pain.

Dr Amarnath Bhat has worked as a medical practitioner for the last 24 years out of which 15 years have been spent in Australia .After arrival in Australia , he decided to work in Country town of Mildura , Victoria and lived there for 9 years after which he relocated to Adelaide in 2018 .
Dr Bhat completed his MBBS from Mysore University , India in 2000 and thereafter worked as a registrar in orthopaedics and Traumatology until 2009 after which he relocated to Australia. He thereafter worked in Emergency Department for a year at Mildura Base Hospital and then decided to pursue general practice training in Mildura.
Dr Bhat completed his ‘Fellowship’ in general Practice (FRACGP) in 2017. Apart from general practice, Dr Bhat is keenly passionate about skin cancer surgery and has completed professional, advanced and expert level courses in skin cancer surgery and has a diploma in skin cancer surgery . He has completed master degree in the field of skin cancer from the university of Queensland

Caroline has completed her Bachelor of Podiatry from the University of South Australia in 2013 and is registered with the AHPRA Podiatry Board of Australia.
She is here at North East Family Practice to help to prevent, diagnose and treat a wide range of foot conditions including foot pain, biomechanical presentations and orthotics, ingrown toenail surgery, diabetic foot, and paediatrics (children’s feet).
She has worked in the metro, rural and remote areas of South Australia, both publicly and privately, as well as residential care and Country Health SA.
Caroline is patient-centered, empathetic, genuinely caring, and easygoing.
Dr Saravanan Kanniappan is a member of Royal Australian college of General Practitioners. He is passionate about all disciplines of primary health care.He has 18 years of work experience of which 11 years are in Australia. He has done hospital based training in Tasmania in various specialities mainly in Emergency medicine and Intensive care for 4 years before he chose to become a GP. He completed his general practice training from rural South Australia.
He is always ready to meet patients with a warm and friendly smile.He enjoys all aspects of general practice with special interests in general medicine, preventive health, managing patients with chronic diseases,Paediatrics,Minor procedures like Implanon insertion and removal,iron infusion, skin excisions.

Dr Kalai is a compassionate, empathetic and dedicated General practitioner. She is a fellow of Royal Australian college of general practitioners with 9 years of work experience in Australia.
She graduated in 2009 from Kilpauk medical college, Chennai, India. She migrated to Australia soon after completing her internship. She has worked in different specialities including General medicine and surgery, paediatrics, obstetrics and gynaecology, emergency medicine and Urology in Royal Hobart hospital and Launceston General hospital .She completed her GP training across rural south australia in Port Augusta and Loxton .
